The definition and processing technology of mold processing

Moldmaking refers to the processing of forming and blank manufacturing tools, including shearing molds and mold cutting molds. Usually, the mold consists of an upper mold and a lower mold. The steel plate is placed between the upper and lower molds, and the material is formed under the action of the press. When the press is turned on, a workpiece with a defined mold shape is obtained or the corresponding scrap is removed. Workpieces ranging from electronic connectors to automotive dashboards can be molded. Progressive die refers to a set of molds that can automatically move the workpiece from one station to another and obtain the formed part at the last station. Die processing technology includes: die cutting, punching die, composite die, extrusion die, four slide rail die, progressive die, stamping die, die-cutting die, etc.

Process flow arrangement

1. The bottom surface is processed to ensure the processing volume;

2. Align the casting rough reference, 2.D.3D surface allowance inspection;

3.2D.3D Non-installation and non-working plane processing (including surface processing of safety platform). Buffer installation surface. Pressure plate plane. Side datum plane);

4. Before semi-finishing, find the correct side reference plane to ensure accuracy;

5. Semi-finishing 2D and 3D various installation surfaces (including the limit block installation surface and contact surface), the insert installation surface and the back surface, the punch installation surface, the scrap cutter installation surface and the back surface, the spring installation surface and Contact surface, various stroke limit working surfaces, wedge mounting surface and back surface), semi-finishing various guide surfaces, guide holes, margin finishing process reference holes and height reference surfaces, and record data;

6. Check the machining accuracy;

7. Fitter inlay technology;

8. Before finishing, find out the datum plane of the datum hole of the process, and check the margin of the insert;

9. Finishing surface 2D.3D, side punching surface and hole position, finishing process reference hole and height reference, finishing guide surface and guide hole;

10. Check the machining accuracy.
