Talk about hand model

Why is there a prototype? In the design process of industrial products, after the designer completes the design drawings, the most important thing to do is to know the effect of the product he designed after it is made into a real product, whether the appearance of the product is consistent with his own design ideas, and the structure Is the design reasonable and so on? In order to solve this problem, the manufacture of prototypes is produced in response to this demand. Let's all call the prototype? Now we can simply call the prototype model directly as a sample/prototype, or it can also be called a pre-production trial, or even directly called a product, because the use of prototypes has become more and more. Because the early industrial samples were made by hand, they were called prototypes, and because they were the first samples, some people called them first boards. The backgrounds of industries and companies are different, and the titles of rival boards are also different. Companies with a Japanese background usually call it 'product trial', while companies with other foreign backgrounds like to call it 'Mockup'; the automotive industry calls it 'fast'. 'Prototype production or RP parts' is called 'prototype' in the design industry, and 'proofing' in some industries. Anyway, each has its own title and is varied. What types of prototypes are there? Prototypes can be divided into manual prototypes and CNC prototypes according to the means of production: (1) Manual prototypes: the main workload is done by hand. (2) CNC prototype: The main workload is completed by CNC machine tools, and according to the different equipment used, it can be divided into laser rapid prototyping (RP, Rapid Prototyping) prototype and machining center (CNC) prototype. A: RP prototype: mainly the prototype produced by laser rapid prototyping technology. B: CNC prototype: It is mainly a prototype produced by a machining center. Compared with CNC prototypes, RP prototypes have their own advantages and disadvantages: the advantages of RP prototypes are mainly manifested in its rapidity, but it is mainly formed by stacking technology, so RP prototypes are generally relatively rough, and there are certain requirements for the wall thickness of the product, such as If the wall thickness is too thin, it cannot be produced. The advantage of CNC prototype is that it can accurately reflect the information expressed in the drawings, and the surface quality of CNC prototype is high, especially after the surface spraying and silk screen printing are completed, it is even more radiant than the products produced after the mold is opened. Therefore, CNC prototype manufacturing is becoming more and more mainstream in the prototype manufacturing industry. According to the materials used in the production, the prototype can be divided into plastic prototypes and metal prototypes: (1) Plastic prototypes: the raw materials are plastic, mainly some plastic prototypes, Such as TV, smart home, digital electronics and so on. (2) Metal prototype: its raw material is aluminum-magnesium alloy and other metal materials, mainly prototypes of some high-end products, such as notebook computers, advanced single-player players, high-voltage electric control boxes, CD players, etc. Prototyping is a vibrant industry, and there are thousands of knowledge waiting for us to explore. At present, many domestic prototyping companies are working together to study wider applications and develop more novel techniques~
