Surface UV treatment of plastic injection molded parts

UV is a surface treatment process for plastic injection molded parts. Generally, after surface treatment of plastic injection molded parts, after UV treatment, the surface effect of the product will be brighter and less likely to be scratched. The main process is to spray a layer of transparent oil on the surface, which requires ultraviolet drying. Let us explain what to pay attention to when UV plastic injection molded parts:

1. Due to the fast curing speed of UV coating and high production efficiency, it can be cured by ultraviolet light in 30 minutes;

2. The coating performance is excellent, with high hardness, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, salt spray resistance, gasoline and other solvent indicators; especially the plump paint film and outstanding gloss;

3. UV coating adopts photocuring process, and there is no pollution during processing.

4. UV coatings are sensitive to dust and have strict requirements on the processing environment.

5. No sun protection, easy to crack in the sun.

6. UV coating will turn yellow after a long time. Therefore, when the appearance of the product needs to be pure white, it is generally not recommended to use UV for surface treatment.
