Vacuum Casting Service
Vacuum forming is used to create duplicate prototypes and models. We start by producing a piece (master model) by CNC machining or SLA, and then a silicon rubber mold is used via vacuum casting to produce accurate duplicates of the original piece. Silicone mold can be reused, making vacuum casting the perfect choice for small batch production.
Product Description
Vacuum casting is a process for defoaming, stirring, preheating, and injection molding of the casting material under vacuum conditions, and performing secondary curing for 2-3 hours in a 60-80 degree incubator, the molding process is suitable for small batch trial production in the product development process, and can realize fast and small batch shipments without opening plastic molds!
➤ Casting material: two-component polyester PU, AXSON polyurethane resin, Hei-cast polyester resin etc.
➤ Physical properties: similar to abs, pp, pa, PMMA/PC transparent parts
➤ Soft rubber parts (40-90shord D), high temperature resistant parts (150 degrees), fireproof materials, etc.
➤ Standard copy accuracy: +-0.2mm/100mm
➤ Pouring sample thickness (wall thickness): minimum 0.5mm, best 1.5-5mm
➤ Maximum casting workpiece size: 2000mm*1200mm*1000mm
