The technical characteristics of the composite mold

Molding: first wrap a layer of soil with a thickness of 3~5mm on the mold, make a gypsum coat, remove the soil stains and release the mold, pour the stirred silica gel and curing agent into the plaster coat with the mold, and solidify it . Mold brushing: Generally, three-layer brushing is multi-layered according to the mold requirements. The first layer of brush is vacuumed on the mold and brushed in place. The second layer of gauze. The third layer of cover is cured and formed. Filling mold: Pour evenly stirred silica gel and curing agent into the container surrounding the mold, vacuumize and solidify. Some molds that cannot be taken out directly need to be removed from the mold with a knife, so that the production can go smoothly. Prototype silica gel features: low viscosity, good fluidity, easy operation, small shrinkage, no deformation, shrinkage rate of 2/1000. If the shrinkage rate is large, the produced product will become smaller, and other liquids will be deformed and resistant to high temperatures when they become solid. The difference between prototyping and CNC prototyping: 1. The difference in processing methods: CNC processing needs to be processed one by one, while vacuum lamination is CNC processing to make an original version, and then make a silicone according to the original version. After the mold is copied. 2. Differences in materials: The prototypes made are generally made of common ABS, PP, acrylic and other materials, but the vacuum lamination is indeed hindered by ABS, PP, and acrylic materials. 3. The difference in processing time: Vacuum lamination can be copied after making a silicone mold. Generally, a silicone mold can produce about 10 products, and the time is much faster than CNC processing. 4. The difference in precision: The precision of CNC machining will be much higher than that of vacuum lamination. (Composite mold products need to be vacuumed, so the size of the product will shrink to a certain extent) 5. Differences in surface treatment: Surface treatment of the prototype model such as oil spraying. Generally, the prototype made by CNC can be sprayed with oil and put into the oven to bake. Dry, but the vacuum lamination can only be air-dried naturally.
